Golfing For The Migrant Cause
Feb 16, 2023
ACMI held its very first charity golf fundraising event at Tanah Merah Country Club on 10 Feb! The full-day event saw around 60 golfers putting their way through the Tampines course – all for the migrant cause.
All funds raised from this event go towards ACMI’s services that help low-wage migrant workers, migrant domestic workers, and low-income transnational families live and work with dignity in Singapore.

Golfers started streaming in from 11.30am for an early lunch with their friends and flight mates, before teeing off.
After an afternoon of fun, our guests and golfers were served an 8-course Chinese banquet dinner. Our Chairperson, Raymundo Yu and Executive Director, Jacob Soo, both conveyed their appreciation for all the support received. Raymundo also shared some of the work that ACMI is doing and how their donations will help our migrant brothers and sisters.

The night closed with a prize presentation for the top 10 golfers with the highest scores. Winners walked away with an array of prizes, such as dining vouchers from our sponsors, a golf bag and bottles of wine. The top 3 winners also received a wine decanter each, which featured a special engraving of their placings in the game.
Once again, we thank everyone who made this event a success! Your generous contributions will touch the lives of our migrant brothers and sisters, as well as benefit ACMI’s various programmes and services. We would also like to specially thank our sponsors, Iki Concepts, Nomi Dining Bar, Nozomi and Nomi Sake, for contributing the dining voucher prizes.
