Our life journey gifts us with many opportunities to celebrate, rejoice and relish. But, inevitably, there will be moments where the strong tides of life throw us into a state of despair and helplessness. Yet, in hindsight, we often discover that at the end of seemingly endless shadows and darkness, light still beams from the other end.

This piece then portrays life’s beacon of hope – be it when we reach out to others with a simple smile, comfort others with our words, or comfort with our presence. There is always a second chance for us to be renewed and to live life in all its fullness.
